Bead Your Heart Out – Zoom Workshop with Lisa Bowling
February 4, 2026 5-8pm EST & February 5, 2026 5-7pm EST
Create a dazzling beaded heart that’s bursting with texture, color, and dimension! In this class, students will learn how to design and stitch a decorative heart-shaped piece using a variety of bead embroidery techniques. We’ll explore layering seed beads, pearls, sequins, cabochons, and specialty shapes to build rich patterns and raised elements that draw the eye.
Whether you’re brand new to bead embroidery or a seasoned beader looking to expand your creative repertoire, this project offers plenty of room for personal style. You’ll leave class with a beautifully embellished heart that can be finished as a brooch, ornament, pendant, or decorative keepsake.
Skills Covered:
• Bead embroidery foundations
• Working with cabochons and focal elements
• Creating texture with mixed bead sizes and shapes
• Pattern building and color placement
• Finishing techniques for a polished back and clean edges
